Peppermint magizine is one of my all time favorite magazines. I came across it one day while in Manchester England. Issues are high in price if you are in the US, costing around $20 an issue! Ok so you may not be suscribing any time soon, but Peppermint magazine is definately the mag to check out. Peppermint is the green fashion magazine, celebrating eco and ethical style with a fun, fresh, intelligent and positive spin. Their webpage may not be exactly like holding a real issue, but it is filled with some really great and unigue things. Check it out.

Kareena Zerefos-Beautiful Artist

Australian artist Kareena Zerefos, is my favorite modern day artist for many reasons. Her work is bizarre and inspiringly beautiful. Unique and refreshing in its simplicity, her work often captures young children in moments of endearing expression as they discover their imaginary worlds. Mysterious giants and fragile creatures populate these shadowy worlds; like the ocurious owl, who simply says ‘hello’ (used as my welcome on the upper right-hand side of my blog), or the deer alone in the silent woods. Here are the reasons I adore her.

I have been reading a book lately titled, "Always Looking Up" by Michael J. Fox. Usually I am not one to read books written by celeberties, but Michael J. Fox is such an incredible man and has gone through such hardships over the past decade. I knew his book could not possibly be bad..and I was right. His book is moving and uplifting. I have learned so much since I picked this book up. Here is a very empowering quote I recently read, from Michael's late friend, Christopher Reeve "Either you decide to stay in the shallow end of the pool, or you can go out in the ocean."

You Really Are The Greatest Person I Will Ever Know

If we sit down and start naming the people we have met over the years, i think we will find ourselves leaving out quite a few names. That does not mean those people were not important or did not help shape our lives in some way. In fact I have realized that even the shortest relationships we form will impact us. We may not think so, but everyone touches our lives in a certain way. May it be large or small. Our whole lives we will continue to form relationships with people, some to last a lifetime and most that will wither away, but always remaining in our hearts and becoming apart of who we are. This post is for a special friend that has touched my life in countless ways.  This specific friend is one of those very rare relationships that I know in my heart will last a lifetime. A few thousand miles between us our relationship has grown stronger than ever. This person knows my heart, my mind, and all the crazy inter-workings of me. When this incredible person speaks to me every other sound is blotted out and all that I ever hear is sweetness and sincerity. Our relationship has been one that everyone should have. There has been so many high and low points in both our lives but this person keeps me strong throughout everything. We build each other up and can just as quickly tear each other down (joking of course ). Whenever doubt creeps in my mind about something I am passionate for, this person always seems to remove that doubt from my mind just as quickly as it had entered.  I can never be unhappy when we speak and for that and so many other reasons is why you really  the greatest person I will ever know.
